Confidentiality


According to the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy, Pierre LAURENT will not disclose, share or sell your personal identifiable information to any third party such as address, e-mail , phone and fax numbers and any identifying information without your consent.

We will update all records of your business activities and transactions, according to our usual strict security and confidentiality standards.

CHAPTER I. - Definitions, principles and field of applications.

§ 1. For the purpose of this Act, the term "personal data" shall mean any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person, hereinafter referred to "data subject", is also known as an identifiable person, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social of the person.

2. "Processing" shall mean any operation or set of operations and as well as non-automatic processing which applies to personal data, such as collection, recording, organization, conservation, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available; or alignment or interconnection, blocking, erasure or destruction of personal data.

§ 3. "Records of data" shall mean any structured set of personal data accessible according to specific criteria, that this set is centralized, decentralized or dispersed on a functional or geographical basis.

§ 4. The term "controller" shall mean any natural or legal person, public administration, legal association or or other entity; which alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
When the purposes and means of processing are determined by or under a law, decree or order, henceforth, the controller is the natural person, corporation, unincorporated association or the government designated as controller by or under this law, the decree or order.

§ 5. The term "subcontractor" shall mean any natural or legal person, public administration, association or other agency that processes personal data on the controller's behalf; and is other than the person entitled by the data controller who, is authorized to process the data under the direct authority of the controller.

§ 6. "Third party" shall mean any natural person, corporation, unincorporated association or public authority, other than the data subject, the controller, the processor and the persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or the processor, are authorized to process the data.

§ 7. With "recipient" shall mean any natural person, corporation, unincorporated association or public authority that receives communication data, whether third party or not; however, the administrative or judicial authorities are likely to receive data in a particular investigation shall not be regarded as recipients.

§ 8. By "consent of the person" shall mean any freely given specific and informed indication of his wishes by which the person concerned or his legal representative signifies his agreement to personal data relating to him being processed.
